Mental health care at Wade's Care First starts with a real conversation. Charles Wade, FNP-BC takes a full history, reviews what has and has not worked before, and builds a medication plan around your goals rather than a checklist. Visits happen by secure video, often the same day.

Can a nurse practitioner prescribe psychiatric medication?+

Yes. Charles Wade is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who diagnoses mental health conditions and prescribes and manages psychiatric medication within his licensed states.

Do you prescribe controlled medication such as stimulants?+

For some patients, yes. Controlled medication is governed by state-specific telehealth rules and clinical appropriateness. We tell you what is possible in your state before the visit.

How long is a first mental health visit?+

The initial evaluation runs about 60 minutes. Follow-ups are typically 20 to 30 minutes.

Do you offer therapy?+

Our practice is medication-focused. We coordinate with therapists and can refer you to one who fits your needs and insurance.
