Does GeneSight tell me which medication to take?+
It does not choose for you. It shows how your genes may affect how you process certain medications, which narrows the options your provider considers.
Is it covered by insurance?+
Many plans cover it for patients who have tried and failed at least one medication. GeneSight bills your insurer directly and will tell you your out-of-pocket amount.
How long do results take?+
Usually about one to two weeks from when the lab receives your swab.
